EV99, is creative product design and 3D modelling studio from VidyaXP, we are inviting passionate and skilled 3D artists to take part in a short modelling challenge. This task is intended to evaluate your understanding of form, proportion, and design sensitivity across a range of concept vehicles and products.

We appreciate the time and effort each of you put into your submissions. Please read the important update below:
- Selected: You will receive a call before the end of this week and will be notified by email with details of the next round.
- Rejected: If you do not receive a call this week, please consider your application not shortlisted. You will still be notified by email with feedback.
Our projects require high-precision 3D modelling suitable for physical product development. Common issues observed include:
- Inaccurate shape or form understanding
- Incorrect wireframe flow or topology
- Low-poly modelling not fit for 3D printing
- Missing technical detailing and mesh refinement

Guidelines
🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions
- Step 1:
Visit ev99.in and browse various categories like:- Utility Vehicles
- Cars
- Products
- Classic
- Truck
- ALL
- Step 2:
Select any concept that excites you and create a 3D model based on it. - Step 3: Modelling Guidelines
- Focus primarily on form, shape, and structural accuracy and beauty.
- Extract the essence and silhouette of the concept
- No textures are required, material is optional you can assign some for better visibility.
- Polycount is flexible – aim for optimal poly-count to achieve clean surfaces and forms
- Model should be original and built from scratch – no kitbashing or downloaded parts
- Keep the geometry clean, organized, and free of unnecessary subdivisions
- Step 4: Screenshot Requirements
- Include at least 3–4 views of your model (front, side, perspective, top if possible)
- Show mesh view (wireframe) and solid/rendered view
- Optional: Include clay renders or viewport captures with lighting
- Step 5: Submission

Note: 3D source files (OBJ/STL/etc.) will only be requested from shortlisted candidates.
Please note: Completing this task does not guarantee employment, but shortlisted artists will be considered for part-time, or long-term roles with our studio. Being startup we are also looking for Core team member for senior position with stock level opportunities.
